With an international tour résumé spanning everything from Glastonbury's Hell Stage to New Zealand's National Jazz Festival, Bridget Walsh is an accomplished, compassionate and dynamic artist, hellbent on leaving the world better than she found it.

 

A vocalist, keys player, songwriter, composer and producer, Bridget has writing credits with over 25 million streams on Spotify and a Masters Degree on the way from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama,  one of the world's top conservatoires.

 

Growing up in Aotearoa but now based in South London, Bridget is a session artist, musical director, curator and DJ, and bandleader of future-soul collective, 10:32.

Bridget has extensive international studio experience with solo, band, backing vocals and choral projects. An accomplished songwriter (over 25 million streams on spotify), composer and top-liner, Bridget can work remotely from her own studio in South London, or come to join you in person.

 

Bridget is available for onstage and studio-based session work as a lead- backing- or choral vocalist, a composer, songwriter and co-writer, and a rhythm keys / synth player.

Bridget works primarily with Logic and Final Cut Pro, but is also familiar with Ableton and NI Maschine. Her onstage and studio rig includes a Nord Electro 6D, Korg Minilogue XD, Roland TR8S, TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2, Boss RC-505, Korg Kaoss Pad, AER Compact 60 MK4 and a Roland SP-404A.

​Bridget is a working artist first and foremost, performing with bands, artists and ensembles around the world, including her own originals project, 10:32, with Lyle Barton and Radovan Brtko.

 

Her résumé includes shows, festivals, tours, broadcasts and sessions in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand) including Glastonbury, Ronnie Scott's, London Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, Isle of Wight Festival, NZ's National Jazz Festival, PizzaExpress jazz club, We Out Here festival and Love Supreme festival's Supreme Standards.​

 

Bridget can be booked to perform solo, with 10:32, with her all-femme jazz and soul trio, The Smokin' Mirrors, as well as with a full band, to perform original tunes, jazz standards and pop & soul covers. She is also available for DJ sets, show production and musical directing.

Bridget is an experienced and accomplished band leader, producer, presenter and manager of shows, events, festivals and tours, having curated, produced and presented for London Jazz Festival, London Fields Brewery, NZ Music Month, Paris Fashion Week, Jazz in the Round and many more.

 

Bridget is also available to host and MC live shows, radio shows, podcasts, events, panels, workshops and festivals, with extensive international experience including NZME, the Musicians' Union, CubaDupa, New Zealand Rugby League,  Emergence, and the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand.

mentor / teach

Bridget has over a decade of experience as a music mentor for students of all ages. Bridget works 1:1, with bands and small groups, all the way through to whole classrooms, masterclasses and national festivals.

 

Bridget has worked in universities, primary schools, secondary schools and music schools in the UK, New Zealand and the USA. She is a regular guest mentor for UK organisation, Music For Youth, guiding and mentoring young artists in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Cornwall. She has been an invited mentor at the Manhattan School of Rock and has led young artists, bands and collaborations from songwriting and arranging right through to performances at the Royal Albert Hall.

 

When her timetable allows, Bridget is available for private lessons and mentoring in piano, voice, composition, professional skills and general musicality.
